The AMAALA Yacht Club is a landmark marina destination located in Triple Bay on Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coastline. Designed by HKS Architects, the building is defined by sweeping cantilevered forms and softly eroded geometries that echo coastal rock formations shaped by wind and water. Large structural openings at ground level create shaded public spaces while framing views of the marina and the Red Sea beyond.

Conceived as the social and nautical heart of the marina, the four-level club brings together restaurants, lounges, event spaces, and viewing terraces overlooking the water. The architecture is designed to create a theatrical arrival experience for guests, with an archway that frames the Red Sea and blends with the surrounding rocky landscape.

Working alongside CIG, UAP | Armetal engineered, fabricated, and installed the mirror-polished stainless-steel cladding that forms the building’s reflective underside. This continuous mirrored surface extends beneath the sweeping structure, reflecting the marina, landscape, and sky while reinforcing the building’s fluid geometry. Together with the starlit floor and architectural lighting, the mirrored ceiling creates an alternative night sky, designed to evoke the atmosphere of evening as visitors arrive.

Delivering the installation required the fabrication of complex curved panels and a highly controlled welding and polishing process to achieve a flawless mirrored finish across large surfaces. Precise coordination with the architectural and structural geometry ensured seamless panel alignment and uninterrupted reflections across the sculptural form. Given the coastal conditions of the Red Sea environment, the stainless-steel elements were engineered using corrosion-resistant materials to ensure long-term durability.
